Full Stack Developer
Frontend Developer
As a key member of the mobile app redesign team, I collaborated closely with designers to implement a comprehensive overhaul that significantly improved both the user experience and interface. Leveraging JavaScript and HTML DOM manipulation, I optimised page transitions to create a seamless, near-instantaneous browsing experience—eliminating the need for traditional page reloads.
This not only boosted performance but also enhanced overall user flow and satisfaction.
I also worked with the marketing team to integrate a newsletter subscription feature into both the mobile app and the WordPress website, expanding user engagement and growing the platform’s reach
Decreased Overhead by 70%
When I joined the project, the app was experiencing significant performance issues—long loading times when opening the app, selecting venues, or using navigation features.
To address this, I implemented a combination of lazy loading, code refactoring, file compression, and WebP image conversion. These optimisations collectively reduced load times by up to 70%.
Freelance Revamp
As a freelance Frontend Developer, I also contributed to the design and development of new screens across various projects. Using a modular CSS architecture, I created a maintainable and reusable styling system that streamlined future development.
I returned to earlier projects to improve existing pages, forms, modals, and components—enhancing both usability and visual consistency. By resolving issues in legacy code and aligning with modern UX/UI best practices, I significantly improved the overall user experience and professionalism of the applications.
