Role
Full Stack Developer
Frontend Developer
As a key member of the mobile app redesign team, I collaborated closely with designers to implement a comprehensive overhaul that significantly enhanced user experience and interface. Leveraging JavaScript and HTML DOM manipulation, I optimized page transitions for a seamless, near-instantaneous experience, eliminating the need for traditional page loads.
This not only improved performance but also created a more intuitive user flow.
In addition, I worked collaboratively with the marketing team to integrate a newsletter subscription feature into both the mobile app and the WordPress website, expanding our reach and fostering deeper engagement with our audience.
Decreased Overhead up to
70%
Coming into the project there was a lot of loading/overhead issues when opening the app, selecting venues and using any navigation buttons.
I incorporated lazy loading, refactoring, compression, webp conversion to help reduce these load times by up to 70%.
Freelance Revamp
As a freelance Frontend Developer, I successfully designed and developed new screens for various projects. By applying my deep understanding of CSS, I created a more maintainable and reusable styling system that streamlined development efforts.
Returning to previous projects, I leveraged my frontend expertise to enhance existing pages, forms, modals, and other components. My focus was on improving usability and visual appeal, aligning the system with modern UX/UI best practices. By addressing the shortcomings of legacy code, I significantly elevated the professionalism and overall user experience of these applications.
